By Dwayne Leon Rankin
Like stars descending from the sky,
Dancing forth with grace and ease.
Seen up close they fly on by,
Within the fields and ‘neath the trees.
Upon the breeze as each take flight,
Shining out their light so fair.
Within the dark that comes each night,
‘Tis found these stars seen in the air.
Still not those stars that upward lies,
But tiny little fireflies.
